Moss Adams issued Accrualify’s SOC report at the end of March.
SAN MATEO, CA April 2, 2018 – Accrualify, Inc. announced that the company was now officially SOC 1 and SOC 2 compliant. The compliance audit was performed by Moss Adams, who issued the final SOC report.
The final SOC report indicates that Accrualify’s internal controls meet the standards set forth by The American Institute of CPAs, AICPA. The reports are meant to express that Accrualify exerts the same level of internal controls that their customers would. The types of control domains covered by SOC 1 and SOC 2 include transaction processing, supporting IT general controls, infrastructure, software, people, procedures, and data.
This issuance is part of Accrualify’s long-term strategy to increase security and compliance. “The security of our customer’s data is top priority for us,” said Ben Portusach, CEO of Accrualify. “Our goal is to have our customers’ complete confidence in our platform and security measures. With the issuance of our SOC reports, this helps us get closer to that goal.”
Moss Adams was selected to be the issuer of the reports because of their thought leadership around SOC audits. Moss Adams sits on the AICPA Assurance Services Executive Committee and serves on the ASEC Trust/Information Integrity Task Force, which helps update Trust Services Principles and Criteria. The company additionally participates in the development of the SOC audit guides. Moss Adams also frequently speaks at national conferences on the topic of SOC auditing.
“We were so pleased to work with Moss Adams on the audit,” said Portusach. “They are a well-known and well-respected organization with a role in developing the guidelines. We feel that by having them issue our reports, our customers will have even more confidence in our SOC compliance.”
